The food in Paros

Really good food is something you won’t have a problem finding in Paros, as well as countless choices of places to enjoy it. There are restaurants, taverns, international cuisine restaurants, restaurants specialized in souvlaki, pizzerias...

In Parikia, on the road along the sea, you will find many restaurants, fish taverns, restaurants specialized in souvlaki and fast-food restaurants. In its picturesque narrow streets there are small taverns and restaurants in the "cool yards" of the restored mansions.

In Parikia you can enjoy the magic sunset having a coffee or a crepe in one of the cafeterias by the sea. The sun that sets between the "portes" (="doors": the giant rocks at the entrance of the harbour), creating orange and red colors in the sky, will fascinate you. During the summer etesians (strong, dry north winds), the cafeterias in the narrow streets of Parikia will satisfy and protect you from the wind.
